PhilSys PAMANA, Packets, Matrix and NAS Automation Tool
An internal automation tool for PhilSys packet handling across NAS migration, packet tracking, and Matrix ticket workflows.
Practical Impact
Covered workflows involving more than 1 million PhilSys data packets, increased transfer speed up to 4x, and cut the projected NAS transfer timeline by around 75%.
Privacy Constraints
Do not show real packet names, real ticket numbers, NAS paths, PhilSys records, employee names, client names, IDs, signatures, or screenshots from live systems.
The Problem
Packet retrieval required manual folder-by-folder searching and downloading. NAS migration involved more than 1 million data packets and was projected to take more than a year because of slow and intermittent transfer conditions. Matrix ticket restoration workflows also required repeated checking, packet lookup, folder preparation, file routing, and follow-up.
The Solution
Built an internal automation tool with features for NAS migration, Packet Tracker, and Matrix restoration support workflows.
My Role
Mapped the packet handling workflow, identified repeated manual steps, built the tool through AI-assisted development, tested packet search behavior, and validated the process against actual office needs.

Lessons Learned
Automation for sensitive workflows must be practical, traceable, and limited to approved internal use. Privacy and careful validation matter as much as speed.
