Kurodeban TimeFlow, Daily Time Record Automation Tool

A local desktop tool that generates individual Daily Time Record forms for 40+ office-based employees from ZKTeco biometric attendance exports.

40+ employees
DTRs generated in minutes
Standardized Excel/PDF outputs

Practical Impact

Generated DTRs for 40+ office-based employees in a few minutes and helped HR focus follow-ups only on employees with unsigned forms.

The Problem

Employees received biometric logs as a shared group file and manually checked their own time-in and time-out records. DTR submissions were not uniform, handwritten time entries caused extra checking, and many employees submitted late.

The Solution

Built a local desktop tool that converts biometric attendance exports into standardized Excel and PDF DTR forms for each office-based employee.

My Role

Designed the workflow, mapped the manual DTR process, built the tool through AI-assisted development, tested outputs, and adjusted the process based on HR printing and signing needs.

Lessons Learned

Automation works best when it follows the real workflow used by HR and employees instead of forcing a complicated new process.
